Omega burst is a silver finalist for the 2010 NASFT Sofi Award!
The sofi Awards from the National Association for the Specialty Food Trade (NASFT) are the highest honor in the specialty food industry. They recognize the outstanding foods of the year that demonstrate top quality, taste and overall appeal. “SOFI” stands for Specialty Outstanding Food Innovation.
This year over 1500 products were submitted and it has been narrowed down to 125 Finalist. Of the 125 Finalist, Omega Burst was the only seafood item chosen.
The Gold Finalists are due to be announced on June 7th and the winners will be announced on June 28th at the Fancy Food Show.

Fancy Food Show 2009June 6, 2009

We exhibited at the Fancy Food Show in New York City this past week and found it to be very worthwhile. Our Smoked Salmon was a huge hit at the show and resulted in an endless line of curious foodies at out booth. The show consisted of thousands of fine food producers, making everything from fine cheese and prosciutto to Maine blueberry honey. If you ever have the opportunity to visit the Fancy Food Show, take it!
